This position reports to the Director of Accounting. The Property and Expense Accountant position is responsible for recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets, tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets. Responsible for the daily accounting tasks for fixed assets, including maintaining fixed assets listing, reconciling fixed asset schedules to the general ledger, and maintaining our fixed assets ledger, and the recording of monthly capital and operating expense accruals. Performs financial transactions, post them in the general ledger, and ensure accurate tracking within Oracle NetSuite and ensuring the company’s fixed assets are accurately represented in our financial systems. Responsible for providing a safe work environment through supervision and support of field measurement systems including Metering, Verifying, Repairing, and Maintenance of various flowmeters. Partnering with Field Operations, Engineering, IT, Pump Services, and Contracted Teams will be critical to effectively supporting these systems. This position requires direct technical support of Measurement systems and projects.
